The midfielder Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks caused problems. Had room to roam down the left flank yet found himself offside upon receiving with a chance to score. Granted a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Played in an advanced position on the right and also contributed with defensive duties. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance and scuffed an attempt over. Substituted in the closing stages for Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7/10

The winger Was presented with the team's top opening before halftime, his effort excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. With a teammate holding position, he was forced to provide width out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

The captain The match-winner netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals for his country. His first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second a classy finish with his head after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him up top. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to get into the game on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham but the keeper denied him. Rashford had a greater effect after coming on. 5
